Grammy-winning New Zealand comedy music act consisting of Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, once billed as "New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo a cappella-rap-funk-comedy duo." Flight of the Conchords is probably most well known for the HBO mockumentary series of the same name, which follows the band's attempts to gain fame in New York City and premiered in July 2007. The TV show comes after another eponymous series about the duo, set in London and broadcast on BBC Radio 2 in September 2005.
